Make the perfect keto cheeseburger lettuce wrap
- Create your beef patty
Start by forming the minced beef into a burger patty.
You can pre-cook the patty if you prefer, but I like to cook it and eat it right away.
TIP: Add some seasoning to your patty at this stage to really enhance the burger flavor. - Prepare your burger packaging
Ready your preffered wrapping for the burger, (I use aluminium foil). by lining it with a large Romaine lettuce leaf.
- Build the burger
Place the beef patty onto the lettuce leaf.
Add a tablespoon of low-carb mayo.
Add one generous slice of cheddar cheese.
Then place slices of fresh tomato, cucumber and red onion.
Finally, add the second lettuce leaf on top. - Wrap it up
Now you can wrap it up for later if you’re pre-preparing it for lunchtime, or enjoy it right away.

- 150 grams Beef (Minced)
- 1 slice Cheddar Cheese
- 2 leaves Romaine Lettuce
- 1 small Tomato (sliced)
- ¼ Cucumber (sliced)
- ¼ Red Onion (sliced)
- 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
Instructions
- Pre-cook your beef patty – 150 grams Beef
- Prepare the preferred packaging for your sandwich. Place the romaine lettuce. – 2 leaves Romaine Lettuce
- Add the homemade beef patty.
- Spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise over the patty. – 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- Add the cheddar cheese slice. – 1 slice Cheddar Cheese
- Add the sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onions. – ¼ Red Onion, ¼ Cucumber, 1 small Tomato
- Lastly, top it with another lettuce. Wrap it with your preferred packaging or you can consume it immediately. – 2 leaves Romaine Lettuce
